Fern & Soul is the trading name of Retro River Pty Ltd (ABN 93 140 139 055), a remedial massage studio at Unit 2, 39 King George Street, Innaloo WA 6018, Australia. By using this website, booking a treatment or purchasing a gift voucher, you agree to these terms.

Our website

The content on this site — including our articles on massage and wellbeing — is general information only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for seeing a doctor or other qualified health professional about your own situation. We keep the site as accurate and current as we can; our services page always shows the current menu and prices, which may change from time to time.

Bookings and appointments

Appointments are booked through Fresha, a third-party booking platform with its own terms of use. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as you can — it lets us offer the time to someone else. You can manage your booking through Fresha or call us on (08) 6285 0378.

Health and safety

• We ask every new client to complete a health intake form before their first treatment, so your therapist can treat you safely. Please answer it accurately and let us know if anything changes.
• Your therapist may adapt, shorten or decline a treatment where they judge it would not be safe or appropriate — your safety always comes first.
• Remedial massage supports your health but is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a medical condition, please keep seeing your doctor.

Gift voucher terms

These terms apply to Fern & Soul gift vouchers purchased online at fernandsoul.com.au or in the studio.

• Validity. Every voucher is valid for three years from its date of issue, as provided for under the Australian Consumer Law. The expiry date is printed on the voucher.
• What it’s redeemable on. Any treatment on our menu, at our Innaloo studio.
• Value. Online vouchers can be purchased for any amount between $50 and $1,000.
• Delivery. Vouchers are delivered by email to your recipient — straight away, or on a date you choose up to 12 months ahead. You receive a payment receipt separately.
• Redeeming. Present the voucher (the email or its code) at your appointment. Each voucher is redeemed once, in a single visit. If your treatment costs more than the voucher value, you simply pay the difference.
• No cash redemption. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and change is not given in cash, except where the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law requires a remedy.
• Keep it safe. Treat your voucher like cash — anyone who presents a valid voucher code can redeem it.
• Lost your voucher email? Contact us at bookings@fernandsoul.com.au. We can verify the purchase and re-send it.

Payments

All prices are in Australian dollars. Online voucher payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our content

The content on this website — text, images, branding and design — belongs to Retro River Pty Ltd. Please don’t reproduce it commercially without asking us first.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of this website is limited to resupplying the relevant service or refunding the amount you paid for it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted on this page, with the date at the top revised. The terms that apply to a gift voucher are those in force when it was purchased.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
